Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient water Management in the Mediterranean case study 5- Oued Righ canal, Touggourt, Algeria February 13th 2024/CRSTRA, Touggourt, ALGERIA.

Under the leadership of the crstra team, the 2nd Med Cop co-design took place on 13th February 2024 at the physical environment experimental station, Touggourt.

It was a consultation meeting on nature-based solutions (NBS) to be implemented in the NATMED project, for the treatment of Oued Righ canal water and, according to standards, their possible reuse in agriculture,

This meeting brought together the main stakeholders of water resources management in the Touggourt region, ONA, ONID, APC, DRE, farmers, local associations as well as university researchers.

the meeting was followed by an on-site trip to the wadi righ canal.
