On October 16, 2025, the Scientific and Technical Research Center on Arid Areas (CRSTRA) in Biskra hosted World Food Day activities, organized by the Agricultural Services Directorate of Biskra Province in partnership with the Chamber of Agriculture under the slogan 'Hand in Hand for Better Food and Future'. The event included scientific and practical presentations addressing the current status of national food security, its challenges, and scientific and strategic solutions to ensure sustainability. Exhibition booths showcased innovations and achievements from various institutions and startups, emphasizing the need for cooperation to implement the national sustainable food security strategy.
