CRSTRA was represented by Mr. Chekkal Fekhreddine at the first regional workshop of the FAO programme dedicated to the preservation of endangered sheep and goat species in Algeria, held on Monday, 17 November 2025. The workshop was organized by the National Institute of Agronomic Research of Algeria (INRAA). This participation reflects the Centre’s engagement to national efforts aimed at preserving animal heritage through contributing to an accurate evaluation of the current situation to create a national roadmap. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with agricultural and research institutes, universities, and specialized centres , indicate the strategic importance of this national project.
