The El-Outaya Experimental Station of CRSTRA Biskra hosted a group of fifth-year students in Plant Protection field from the National Higher School of Agriculture of Algeria, within the framework of cooperation between the Centre and academic institutions. The visit aimed to introduce students to the latest techniques and applied research in plant protection in arid regions. It allowed them to explore the ongoing research activities of the station and participating in field training sessions on plant pests and diseases to enhance their practical skills and reinforcing the Centre’s mission to support the scientific development of students and researchers. Inauguration of the Director of the ResearchUnit on Environmental Resources, Systems, and Sustainable Development of Oued Righ On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, the Director of CRSTRA, Professor Kechebar SeifAllah, chaired the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Ben Aissa Mohamed El Houssine as Director of the Research Unit on Environmental Resources, Systems, and Sustainable Development, in the presence of the assistant Director Mr. Farhi Yassine, the Secretary General Mr. Baissi Abdelkarim, and the President of the Scientific Commitee Dr. Masnoua Mohamed. The ceremony was marked by expressing sincere wishes of success for Dr. Ben Aissa’s endeavor, affirming the confidence in his ability to leadership and supports the unit effectively.
